RUTH V. RICARDO is an Associate of the Firm. She began her legal career as a Tax Supervisor at R.G. Manabat & Co. (a member firm of KPMG International), where she handled tax advisory and tax advocacy matters for domestic and foreign corporations across different industry sectors. Her experience includes advising clients on corporate structuring and restructuring, identifying the tax implications and most tax-efficient schemes of complex commercial transactions, and representing clients before the BIR during the conduct of tax audit investigations. Thereafter, she was a Junior Associate at Tan Venturanza Valdez where she held the position of corporate secretary/assistant corporate secretary for listed and/or reporting as well as private companies.
Ruth obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree major in Management Economics in 2010 from Ateneo de Manila University and her Juris Doctor degree in 2014 from the same university. She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2015.
Ruth is a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, RSM Chapter.
