EDUARDO U. ESCUETA is one of the Senior Counsels of the Firm. He just recently retired (2016) as the Vice Chairman of the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) after serving for eight (8) years since 2008. He has previously held the positions of Administrator of the Philippine Coconut Authority and a Senior Senate Legal Counsel, among others. Ed is a seasoned lawyer. He was a Partner at the Angara Abello Concepcion Regala & Cruz (ACCRA) Law Offices from 1973 to 1991. He was also the Founding Partner of Escueta Tan Acut & Madrid Law Offices where he stayed from 1993 to 1998. His fields of expertise are civil, criminal and administrative litigation, public advocacy, special projects, corporation law and election law.
Ed obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law in 1972. He likewise completed his BS Political Science degree from the Ateneo de Manila University in 1968.
