Arbitration is steadily becoming the favored mode of settling international controversies in the Philippines. With the enactment of Republic Act No. 9285 or the Alternative Dispute Resolution Act of 2004, the widespread use of the English language in the Philippines, and the increasing number of experts in various fields including engineering, construction, finance and banking, among others, Philippines is becoming a preferred venue for international commercial arbitrations.
Our team has extensive experience in alternative modes of dispute resolution and arbitration. We assist clients from putting arbitration clauses in contracts, to resolving issues through mediation and negotiation, to representing clients in arbitration proceedings, both local and international.

Our Firm’s taxation team is led by Hardy, a Master of Laws degree holder on International Tax from the New York University School of Law. Hardy is a recognized figure in the local taxation scene, being chosen as a finalist in the 2020 Young Lawyer of the Year of the Asian Legal Business.
Currently, our taxation team advises and helps clients with various tax-related problems and represents them before the Bureau of Internal Revenue and other government agencies.
